There are 3 basic steps to follow:

1- Buy ("pay") in SL the package " Vtel For Sale " ( Video 1 - How to get ) composed by:
a) Vtel for calls (you can rename it)
b) Vtel for your future sale ( do not rename it)
c) box for the packaging "Vtel For Sale" ( do not rename it)
For buying Vtel you can contact inworld "andreagen Jacobus" or any other owner of Vtel, infact you can resell the phone. To get it free in the phase of the launch, go to the E-AGE EXPO palace .

2- Register at http://www.kitaws.com/form.php in order to receive your own phone number and password ( Video 2 - How to register ) that must be typed into the appropriate notecards in the Vtel you use for calls (not the one for sale), substituting the default text ( Video 3 - Settings ) . To be sure the world feels these updates, "detach" and "wear" again the Vtel and then type "v:s".

3- Download the VoIP component of Vtel at the URL http://www.kitaws.com/EN/download.htm

Vtel is composed of two parts, one running on Second Life (the Vtel), the other running on your PC (the VoIP part).
You can get the first part in SL, using the function "pay" that appears in the circle of choices, by clicking the right button on the box "Vtel For Sale".

For using - , your avatar have to wear ("attach" or "wear") it and you have to launch the VoIP program using the icon installed on your Desktop: .

The programm on your PC requires Java Virtual Machine (JVM) version not inferior to JRE_1.5.0.15 and external libraries.
You can find the appropriate JVM on site http://java.com , while libraries are included in the installation package.
For any problem at this stage write to support@KITAWs.com indicating in the Subject the kind of problem.

For a good excecution of the VoIP part you have to insert the password and the name of your avatar respectively into the files PWD.txt and NAME.txt , stored in the directory where you have installed the program, during the setup phase.

Vtel works when it is worn ("attach" or "wear") it listens to commands given on chat channel. See videos: Video 4 - First time you use it ; Video 5 - How To Make Call .

To find phone number in agenda :
Type " v:s ", Vtel will respond "Ready for searching parameters ..."
Now any text typed will be searched into agenda.
Using pou-up you can chose which is the number to call.
For interrupting the search, type " v:stop ".
To call a VoIP phone, outside the world Secondlife :
Type " v:sip ", Vtel will reply " Write the IP to call ..."
Then type an IP to call via SIP or type "v:stop" for stopping.
To send a text message without phonebook:
type "v:sms" (Video 8 - How to send Sms) , Vtel will respond: ' Write the number to call followed by ";" followed by the body of the SMS.' Now enter the phone number you want to deliver the sms to, preceded by the prefix of the country, next to it, write ";" (without quotation marks) to indicate the end of phone number and next to ";" write the message (eg: "3932800000000; hello this is an SMS ").

To dial directly a telephon number :
Type " v:dial ", Vtel answer: "Write the number for calling ..." . Then type the number to call.
To close a call :
Type " v:h " Vtel will ask you a confirmation.
To reset Vtel :
In case of abnormal behavior of your Vtel, sometimes chargeable to spasms of secondlife, you reset the phone typing: " v:reset "
You can get a quick help typing " v:help "

Remember: once Vtel is worn by the avatar you have to launch the VoIP component on your computer.

--------ATTENTION PLEASE--------
If you don't want to be read when you're compiling your SMS, before international prefix you have to type "/11" (es.: "/113932800000000;hi mike who are you? ").
SMS can be sent even without the VoIP component running on your PC.

- Calling numbers away from your phone book:
Type" v:dial " and Vtel will give you the message: "Write the number for calling..." . Type the number you want to call.

- Closing a call:
Type" v:h " and Vtel will give you confirm message.

- Resetting Vtel:
Due to unexpected behaviors, maybe cause of SL bad connection or trilling, it is useful to reset your Vtel typing " v:reset "
Having a look to our fast help type " v:help "

Remember: The Vtel must be weared from the avatar and it's also important starting VoIP component from your personal computer. Both conditions are strenghtly necessary to use Vtel in a correct way.

Insert into the "Vtel For Sale" box, the Vtel provided for sale (not the one for calls containg personal information), the Vtel For Sale himself and notecard PWD containing the password you use for calling, you can take it from the "contents" of Vtel. You can perform these actions even in a sandbox
So the "Vtel For Sale" you are selling (A) should include:

Vtel (phone)
PWD (notecard containing your password)
Vtel For Sale (box for packaging)

When someone will buy ("pay") the box, Vtel will be distributed twice.
An instance for making calls, the other for the future sale.

Now you can put for sale "Vtel For Sale" (A) somewhere scripts enabled, such as shops or whatever.

Remeber:
during the sale fase, you have to accept the request for " PERMISSION DEBIT " in order to give back a part of the revenue to KITAWs, otherwise your password will be suspended. You will remain about 20%.
